Integrative Precision Cancer Medicine Consultation
Explore conventional oncology and evidence-based integrative cancer care — delivered by a licensed Medical Oncologist with expertise in both, and supported by CTOAM's Precision Cancer Medicine Research Team.
Every cancer journey is unique. While many individuals are looking for an independent medical oncology opinion, others also wish to explore evidence-based integrative approaches that may complement their overall care.
Like our Precision Second Opinion program, every consultation is supported by comprehensive case preparation completed by CTOAM's Precision Cancer Medicine Research Team before you meet with the physician.
Our role is to organize your information, prepare research-based educational materials, and support your physician consultation. All medical opinions, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, prescribing, and ongoing medical management are provided solely by the licensed physician.

What is included?
Comprehensive case preparation
Before your consultation, CTOAM's Precision Cancer Medicine Research Team organizes the medical records and laboratory reports you provide into a structured package for the consulting physician. Our team also prepares research-based educational materials summarizing selected peer-reviewed scientific literature relating to your reported cancer type, laboratory-reported molecular findings, biomarkers, molecular pathways, molecular testing, targeted therapies, clinical trials, and emerging areas of precision cancer medicine.
Comprehensive physician case review
Before your appointment, the consulting physician conducts a detailed review of your organized medical records, pathology, laboratory reports, molecular testing, biomarker findings, imaging, current medication and the supporting educational materials prepared by CTOAM. This preparation allows your consultation to focus on your individual questions, priorities, and treatment goals.
One-hour physician consultation
Meet privately with a licensed medical oncologist experienced in both conventional oncology and evidence-based integrative cancer care.
Written physician summary
Following your consultation, the physician prepares a detailed written summary outlining their medical assessment, treatment recommendations, suggested next steps, and any appropriate prescriptions or follow-up investigations. You may share this summary with your treating healthcare team.
Scheduled physician follow-up
Approximately 48 hours after your initial consultation, you'll meet again with the consulting physician for a scheduled follow-up appointment — an opportunity to review the written summary, clarify questions regarding the physician's recommendations, discuss implementation of the proposed care plan, and address additional questions that have arisen.
CTOAM education & navigation support
Following your physician follow-up, Michelle Morand or another member of CTOAM's Client Care Team will meet with you to provide ongoing education and navigation support — helping you understand medical terminology, organize records and correspondence, prepare questions for your treating healthcare providers, coordinate additional testing or specialist consultations when requested, and locate educational resources and scientific literature.
Ongoing physician follow-up
Additional consultations with the consulting physician are available throughout your care. These appointments may include review of new laboratory findings, treatment progress, symptom management, supportive care, medication adjustments when appropriate, and ongoing medical guidance based on your evolving clinical circumstances.
Depending on your individual circumstances and goals, your consultation may include discussion of conventional cancer treatments, molecular targeted therapies, immunotherapy, clinical trials, integrative oncology, nutrition and metabolic health, supportive care, complementary therapies, supplement safety, symptom management, quality of life, and your personal treatment goals and questions. All medical opinions, treatment recommendations, prescribing, and ongoing medical management are provided solely by the consulting physician. CTOAM provides research, education, navigation, and coordination.
